  • Celtic 1-0 Rangers

    70. Pressure on the blue half of Glasgow now.

Only twenty minutes remaining in the game to find a goal.

How much will their midweek excursions have taken out of them.

Lundstram shoots from distance well over the bar.

  • Celtic 1-0 Rangers

    68. Celtic have a corner and ball drops to Carters-Vickers.

He strikes the ball straight onto the crossbar and back out.

    What a miss!

  • Celtic 1-0 Rangers

    66. Rangers will feel hard done by there.

They have been the better team so far but have not taken any of their chances.

You run the risk of being hit with the sucker punch when you do this.

    Celtic proved the point.

  • Celtic 1-0 Rangers

    64. One lapse of concentration from Rangers and they are behind.

The effort may have taken a slight deflection but the Rangers keeper had no chance.

That could be just what this game needed.

  • Goal – Greg Taylor (Celtic)

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    62. Celtic’s delivery into the box has been poor.

Each time they look to get a cross in it has been too close to McLaughlin.

    Lundstram seems unbookable today.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    60. Celtic are starting to wake up a bit now.

Jota looks to find Furuhashi in the box but it is too close to the keeper.

This has become an end to end affair again.

    58. Abada comes off for O’Riley.

Rogic is coming off for Furuhashi.

The Celtic fans cheer at the introduction of Furuhashi.

He drops the shoulder twice to give himself some space to shoot.

Dragging his shot wide of the Celtic goal.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    54. The referee is getting his money’s worth out of that whistle.

A series of free-kicks for both sides with these committed challenges.

Celtic have a free kick which they look to loft towards the box but it is all too easily dealt with by the Rangers defence.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

The ball is swung in and McLaughlin comes out and gathers with ease.

Hatate with a great chance but he drags his effort wide of goal.

Rangers probing, trying to find a way through.

Yellow card for the Rangers man.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Kent crosses into the box but Roofe is leaning backwards and cannot get any power on the ball at all.

No substitutions from either side at half time.

  • Kick-off: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Rangers get the second half started.

Nothing to separate these two teams so far.

  • HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Ange Postecoglou will be looking for more from his Celtic side in the second half.

They need to be at their game a lot more, avoid the Rangers press and counter-attack.

It seems they were not expecting this high-tempo attacking game of Van Bronckhorst’s side.

Meanwhile Rangers will be looking to utilise their dominance with the goal they feel they deserve.

  • HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Rangers look to be full of confidence following their European adventures in the week.

They are first to the ball and their high-press is forcing Celtic to make errors.

Sadly for Rangers they have only been able to create half-chances.

Giovanni Van Bronckhorst will be asking for more of the same in the second half.

They certainly wont be wanting extra-time here today.

  • HT: Celtic 0-0 Rangers

Joe Aribo’s tame header wide of goal is the last chance of the half.

The referee brings the half to a close.

Rangers will feel they did enough in that first 45 minutes to have something to show for it.

    Celtic really haven’t got started.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    45. We will be having one additional minute.

  • Yellow card – Ryan Jack (Rangers)

Rangers are on top at the moment.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    42. Aaron Ramsey is sat on the floor looking for treatment.

Maeda is also receiving some running repairs.

Looks like Ramsey will not be continuing with Scott Wright replacing the Welshman.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    40. The referee does well letting play continue before coming back to book McGregor.

Juranovic stays down as he seems injured.

Lundstram strikes from the edge of the box and ball strikes the post and comes back out into play.

  • Celtic 0-0 Rangers

    38. Celtic haven’t really had a shot in anger in this half.

Considering the form they are in, you would expect them to be testing McLaughlin far more.

A goal for either side before half-time would be huge.
